Lynn R Garrison is founder and a Principal of Legacy Wealth Partners, an independent, privately owned Registered Investment Advisory located in Overland Park, KS. Lynn has a heart to serve, and loves to help clients understand and apply principles of sound financial stewardship. He particularly enjoys finding creative ways for clients to effectively plan for and manage the challenges of retirement. Lynn enjoys helping clients find efficient ways to provide income, support their favorite charities, and leave a legacy for their families by using meaningful estate planning strategies.

He graduated from Missouri University with a bachelors’ degree in Electrical Engineering. He also did graduate and post-graduate work at MU in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering. He is also registered as a Professional Engineer (PE). Lynn’s analytical abilities and corporate experience give him a unique perspective on financial planning and investment management issues that is rare in the industry.
He is married to Valarie A Garrison, and they will celebrate 32 years of marriage this year. Lynn and Val both like to play golf (Val is more competitive!) and both are active in community and church activities. They are members of First Sothern Baptist Church of Overland Park. Lynn is a member of the Overland Park Civic Band, the American Legion Band of Greater Kansas City, and the Midwest Winds, a non-profit group that promotes musical education.

 | Wendell J. Harkleroad, MBA
Wendell J. Harkleroad is co-owner and a Principal of Legacy Wealth Partners. He has a wealth of high-level executive experience in corporate operations, manufacturing and supply chain management, in businesses large and small. He also has experience in developing and managing projects for private equity investors. Wendell’s leadership in a broad range of industries is particularly valuable to our business-owner clients. His range of life experiences enhances his ability to understand clients’ unique circumstances.
Wendell holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy, where he also played football, and Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an exclusive national business honor society. He is affiliated with The American Legion, and Kingdom Advisors, an association of Christian Financial Professionals.
He retired from military service as a Lt. Col. after twenty-one years of flying in active and reserve forces. A Vietnam Veteran, he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and four Air Medals. He was awarded the Airman’s Medal for rescuing 37 people from a flash flood in 1967 while piloting a helicopter near Nogales, Arizona. He accumulated 4400 hours in 17 different aircraft and helicopters over his flying career, achieving a Command Pilot Rating. He holds civilian helicopter and multi-engine airplane ratings.
Wendell is married to Irene Roy, formerly of Philadelphia, PA. They reside in Leawood, KS, and are active in numerous community and church-related activities. Wendell and Irene have two children, Eric, 29, a graduate of Princeton University, and Julia, 26, a graduate of Occidental College.
